A few years ago, Sheeraz Hasan was working the nightshift at his family’s London café and milkshake bar. Today, he is called “THE SHINING REALITY OF THE AMERICAN DREAM” BY PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA. Sheeraz built a worldwide media empire. The Founder and CEO of www.Hollywood.TV the biggest name in entertainment. Sheeraz’s remarkable journey began in 1991 in London. At the age of 16 he took over his family’s struggling restaurant business. Renamed it the ‘Tinseltown Café’, turned it into a 24-hour Hollywood-themed eatery and before long, it was a thriving success.
In 2002 with no experience, skills or contacts in the USA entertainment business, Sheeraz moved to Hollywood and with limited funds, from his family, his rise began.
Making his prayers at the Hollywood sign, he had a fortuitous encounter with Rowland Perkins, founder of Creative Artists’ Agency, the biggest talent agency in the world. From this chance introduction Sheeraz catapulted into the Hollywood movie scene. Within weeks, he had his own TV show, was covering film premieres and interviewing the biggest celebrities in the world on famous red carpets throughout Hollywood.
Sheeraz produced and hosted two-hundred episodes of his multiple-award winning program, ‘Tinseltown TV’, which was broadcast to 500-million people in 130 countries,. He built a bridge between the two biggest film industries in the world, Hollywood, representing 3.6 billion worldwide fans, and Bollywood, representing 3.8 billion worldwide fans – a marriage made in Celebrity Heaven
Tinseltown TV focused on spreading a message of spirituality. Unlike most celebrity hosts, Sheeraz didn’t report gossip or on celebrity scandals. Instead, he inquired about stars religious beliefs and spiritual lives, and encouraged them to use their fame to make the world a better place. Only 18 months after arriving in the USA, Fortune Magazine, the world’s premier business magazine, devoted a four-page spread to Sheeraz. His story was featured alongside those of billionaire Google founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin and the richest man in the world, Microsoft’s founder Bill Gates.
Sheeraz is a practicing Muslim, determined to transmit positive images of Muslims in America around the world. It is his mission to build bridges between cultures, and the realization of his vision has been recognized with the numerous awards he has been granted.
Sheeraz received the “Hall of Fame” award at the 2004 Indian Telly Awards, the most prestigious television award show in India, for connecting Hollywood to Bollywood. He was named ‘Hollywood Ambassador to the Middle East’ at the 2004 Arabian Music awards in Dubai, and the One Night Foundation named him their ‘Humanitarian Communicator of the Year’ for his work in promoting their efforts to fight AIDS in India. He has been appointed the Global Ambassador for Youth for Human Right Rights International, as well as a special representative for Friends of the United Nations, and devotes time to educating children around the world about the principles of Human Rights.
At the 2005 Bollywood Awards, known around the world as ‘The Indian Oscars’ Sheeraz was appointed ‘Hollywood Ambassador to Bollywood’ for his outstanding work, bridging the two largest film industries in the world, Hollywood and Bollywood and was honored by being selected for the prestigious ‘American Dream’ award. And in response to the South-East Asia tsunami tragedy, he hosted the first live telethon in the U.S. to raise money for victims of the disaster. Additionally, in response to the devastating earthquake in Pakistan, Sheeraz hosted the first telethon in Los Angeles to raise funds for relief efforts and awareness for those affected by the disaster.
In 2006, Sheeraz’s autobiography, “Sheeraz the Muslim American Dream’”, an emotional, spiritual and gripping love story that describes Sheeraz’s rags to riches American success story. Sheeraz is dedicated to create a positive image of Muslims around the world. This book received the highest acclaim, worldwide. The book received the highly esteemed “Best Autobiography” award at the 2006 Bollywood Awards held in Trinidad in front of a live audience of 20,000 and televised to millions of viewers around the world. The autobiography also earned Sheeraz the coveted Dr. Zakir Hussain Award for “Outstanding Contribution to the Arts” at the 59th Anniversary of India’s Independence Day in August 2006, held at the world renowned Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles in front of numerous prominent worldwide dignitaries and leaders. Former Presidential candidate and US Senator John Kerry presented Sheeraz with the Dr. Zakir Hussain Award, which was named after the former President of India. The emotionally moving story and success of “Sheeraz the Muslim American Dream” has also earned Sheeraz personal commendations and endorsements from such luminaries as Senator Hillary Clinton of New York, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa of Los Angeles and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger of California, who compared his own rags to riches success story in America to Sheeraz’s success story when he stated that we are both “examples of the American Dream.”
Sheeraz’s autobiography is a huge success, making him a role model for over 1.6 billion Muslims around the world. Further, his book was instrumental in promoting the peacefulness of Islam, both in Hollywood and around the world, as well as for building bridges between all people of various religious faiths and backgrounds.

2008 was another year when dreams came true. When Sheeraz came to Los Angeles in 2002, he arrived with the vision of opening a milkshake bar for his mother, much like the one he pioneered at his family’s restaurant in London. Six years later, on Oct. 31, 2008, Sheeraz’s life came full circle when he opened the doors of his Millions of Milkshakes shop in West Hollywood.
Sheeraz named the store Millions of Milkshakes as a gift to his mother as he promised her when he comes to America he will open up a Milkshake Bar, and the reason he called it Millions of Milkshakes as it stands for ‘MOM’.
Millions of Milkshakes is a family place, where every teenager wants to be seen and your children won’t leave because everyone loves the experience. At Millions of Milkshakes, customers design their own milkshake from a choice of over 50 toppings, including a range of candies, chocolates, cereals, fruits and protein boosts, as well as ice cream, non-fat yogurt and vegan ice cream.

California Insurance Commissioner John Garamendi, as well as members of the California State Assembly including Speaker of the Assembly Fabian Nunez, Assemblyman Rudy Bermudez, Assemblyman Tim Leslie, and Assemblywoman Judy Chu, and he also received a Resolution from the California Legislature, the highest award that can be granted to a person in the State of California.
Of special note, in 2012 Sheeraz was invited to meet with The President of the United States Barack Obama in Hawaii for a private breakfast and the President stated that Sheeraz is “THE SHINING REALITY OF THE AMERICAN DREAM”.
Sheeraz’s journey brought him full circle, from reporting on the headlines, to making them. He garnered scores of awards, graced the covers of the largest newspapers and magazines, was featured on the biggest TV shows around the world.
